Clipboard Help+Spell Recommend Defaults be should be unticked Automatic Filing
by default all clips older than 60 days gets deleted.
Clipboard Help+Spell Is excellent.
On upgrading to newer version i created a backup first. On looking i discovered :-
MENU - Database operations - Backup Maintenance - Automatic Filing
Defaults to Move contents of old to recycle bin after 30 days and empty recycle bin after 60 days.
