How do I change computer name?
« on: January 10, 2016, 04:27 PM »
In my second-hand laptop, in WinXP, if I right-click on Computer, r-click on Manage, r-click on Utilities, at the top is the former owner's name. Is there any way to change that?

I'm not quite sure I follow your navigation, but see if this will get you what you want.

The values for those two entries, Registered Owner and Registered Organization, were blank, so I entered my preferences. However, the unwanted name remains in the location I mentioned.
