Compatibility with Windows 10
« on: August 07, 2015, 10:23 AM »
A while back, I could not even start FARR on my Windows 8 desktop.  For about a year, I relied on Launchy.  Then, the recently updated FARR version worked on WIndows 8.  Now, I have upgraded to 10, and FARR will not even launch. Thoughts?

FARR should run fine on windows 10 -- it does here too.

Perhaps it's a plugin issue? Unfortunately uninstalling will not remove things like plugins that were installed after the main installer.
What you could do is delete the plugins folder and the FindAndRunRobot directory under MyDocuments\DonationCoder\FindAndRunRobot
That should give you a clean install.

Works on Windows 10 for me too, however, I had to disable the FCalc plugin as it was crashing. Anyone else having problems with FCalc?

I think this may have been a false alarm.  After reinstalling FARR, I rebooted a couple times and it has worked since.  Thanks for the suggestions!
