software magnifiers
« on: September 16, 2013, 07:02 PM »
Found a couple of magnifiers for the desktop screen that I like.
They seem to be much better then the default with w7.

This one is my favorite so far.

With this one as a close runner up.

Both are free. The second one, Virtual Magnifier, is accepting donations.
Each one works different, so it's a couple of good choices, imo.

You forgot an often used, free, Microsoft (SysInternals) entry: ZoomIt

ZoomIt and I never could get along for some reason.
I know a lot of people use and recommend it, and I tried, it just never did the same for me.
Here's a shot of iconico's magnifier, using the magnify screen. It's an adjustable size screen that can follow the mouse pointer or leave the magnify screen in a spot of choice.

I like Zoomit.

Another neat choice is Oneloupe.
