Dears,

I googled lots of pages, and also the forum. However, I cannot find out the previous. Here are what I need;
Screenshot Captor 4.0
or
Screenshot Captor 3.8

Would you please send me a copy of them? My email address: xxxxxxxxxxxxx :0

Why Use Old Version?
The shortkey of popup dialog is changed. In the past, I press "CD", then paste it into Photoshop. Only 2 keys need to press.
And now, more than 8 keys....

My Suggestion
Please keep the popup dialog simple, the previous short key is convient, and now it's quite complicated!

Thanks for you help!

I'll post a link to earlier versions tonight, but as you are the second person who has longed for the previous post-capture dialog, perhaps i need to think about making it an option to revert to that.

By the way did you know that you can use Alt+key now to trigger those actions quickly?

I do think the new (now in beta) post-capture dialog offers something quite important -- the ability to quickly set filename and add comment.

The copy-to-clipboard button i can see is more iffy since it now requires 2 clicks (or keypresses) each time to select the same copy-to-clipboard action.

So maybe i'll do this:
1. revert the copy-to-clipboard dropdown back to a standard button (and have options choose which of the 3 copy-to-clipboard actions this should take).
2. have an option to either not show the new name/comment fields in the post-capture dialog, or probably just have an option to not start the focus on them which will have the same effect of letting you just hit a single key to trigger the other actions.

Am i correct in assuming that what you care about here is being able to simply press a single key to trigger those post-capture dialog items?

Hi Mouser,

I'm not using the post-capture dialog, but I tested the new options and they work as described.
I hope this options fulfill the desired behaviour of SCC.

The new 2 options are perfect! With this options I do not need one of my Autohotkey scripts any more to simulate the old behaviour ;)

THANK YOU!

Hello Mouser,

Sorry for late! I'm a little busy in the past two weeks.

The new improve is what I need! You've see that, mtemp needs the same function :)

The copy works perfect in the past two weeks, no bugs, no restart.

Thanks for your prompt fix and feedback! You're the quickliest developper as I saw!!

Thank you, again!

In my opinion, image is easier to understand than text, note, filename etc... You know, one picture is more than hundred of texts.

I think, most of users can recall what's a screenshot is, and what he did, rather than a filename, a comment.

So, my suggestion is to keep the Post-capture dialog simple and its hot key.

A: Yes, I konw, but it's not convient as before.

A: Yes. filname and comment are not intuitionistic as picture/image.

I'm glad to hear the new changes have solved the issue people had with the new post-capture dialog.

It's another case where the users have made the program better.
