The other pill, discovered in the 1920's, is sold as Antabuse. It pretty much guarantees that you will not get drunk. :P

Only if you're not hardcore!

Also, one could keep taking enough amphetamines to keep a high alcohol tolerance, that might do the job as well.

Or perhaps, dunno, pretty much unthinkable I realize, but... drink less?

^^ I knew someone that was on Antabuse and that had either used the wrong toothpaste or some cologne or something (I forget exactly). She said she about wanted to die it was so bad.

Even a very small amount of alcohol, if you have antabuse in your system, will trigger horrific "I wish I would die" sickness.

And there are many things out there with alcohol in them. Perfume for example. You have to be VERY careful if you're on Antabuse. People have gotten so sick that they've died from the reactions it causes.
