Zupload change to ShareX
« on: May 25, 2012, 01:52 PM »
hi guys,

ZUpload program change name to ShareX
https://plus.google....08923871264316/posts
http://code.google.com/p/sharex/

so... the program is very similar, but change the program folder and screenshot captor integration don't work.

I hope in a future fix :P

Screenshot captor is the best software for screenshot! keep it real  :-*

bye

Thanks for the report Elv12!

I will update Screenshot Captor; until then i *think* you can solve this by going to the "Screenshot Folder and Tools" tab in options and under "Custom Uploader Tool" browse to the ShareX exe.

New version of SC will be released in a day or so with new links to ShareX, and more generic explanation of using any Uploader tool with SC.

ShareX and ZUploader are wonderful tools, but I have to say that the hotkey registering and no easy way to uncheck the use of hotkeys, and similar things, makes this tool harder and harder to use as a helper.. If anyone has any other uploader tools they would like to suggest as a better match for use with SC let me know.

Also, there's ShareXmod, ShareX with more of ZScreen's old features. https://plus.google....37306164052451/posts  :)

@Elv12: thanks for the updates. i have been using SC's built-in config tool to call your app and the command line params (as pointed out by hamradio) are very useful.

@
title = ShareX
app = %THISDIR%\ShareX.exe
params = -nohotkeys -portable -silent "%file%"
// where to put %folder%
iconfile =
-ShareX.sctool

however that being said, i would like to request for a couple of enhancements.
1. right now after being launched in portable mode, ShareX reverts to non-portable mode if the param is not supplied. i suggest ShareX start in portable mode if the settings folder is detected within the app folder.
2. an option to exit after an upload job is done.

thanks for the program and i think your app has one of the coolest hot-key management out there! makes it so easy to reset/clear unwanted hotkeys and color-coded even..
