I think the normal user expect that the active profile will be open when launch the item definition file. And anycase is not expected received an error for refresh change.

I think the globe from the startup remains too long.

All efforts to make the interaction with the user more friendly is interesting. But this is optional for a splendid soft.

It's been so long since I used this myself that I've forgotten how most things work, let alone how I coded it.  If you can make a list of the problems and how to reproduce them I will try to fix.

I have observed that when we open a profile in the item definition editor in a second time is open at first without need to select the profile again.

The menu from item definition editor  presents options that really are not available until open a profile.

The last screenshot is because i suppose that the value maximum units will be a limit. But I don't know how to manage because when put values I can exceed the value 8.
What am I doing wrong ?

Perhaps a globe interactive help is welcome to remember "over the action" (excuse my english). Initially are too many "options". Perhaps for this reason you created the Quick add custom entry.

 

P.D. You asked in some place about similar programs. The more near i remember is optimism.
In my opinion this program has lost certain interest because of the more difficult definable user options.
But I like the idea of "ver todo de un vistazo". The idea of seeing all fields for an instance. In a single view.

I understand now the modify/deleted option in the tab history diary log
But is not operative in the rest of tabs. So preferably must not appear....

I was trying when change of mind and for me is perfect.
I think that the advantage is clear.
But.... What are the effects in the log if we modify categories and items ?
May be a reindex instance or something like that ?
By example : You have the item conducta and decided to include in the personal category.
How will affect to the reports system ?
 


P.D. I say nothing. We don't have to worry because only obtain an universal value : the points.
I was seeing the graphical report from Optimism, but for me is a wisiwig only. The important thing is have in mind parameters. And this is no problem with PointMotivator.
And no obligation to cumpliment any checking list or goals. Only sums the goals you decided or really have accomplish.

It depends on the xml parser used, but this list is rather complete, and defines that you should use ñ (including both the & and ; characters)
