Prometheus

I don't know how many DC'ers are fan of ridley scott's alien movie. There is prequel coming up next month. I thought it would be good to post about it in the forum about it.

Trailer looks good to me.

Most notable is that this will NOT be another "Alien" movie. (You could say it will be a "Giger" movie.) The plot is based in the same "Alien" universe as the first film but will divert into its own story - diverting further away from Alien in the Prometheus sequel that Scott has mentioned. He has also said Prometheus is not a true "prequel" because of this.

I'm glad there aren't going to be any Xenomorphs (though, I'm sure there'll be something similar).

It looks amazing.  If only we could clone Ridley Scott so we could get these kind of sci-fi movies once a month instead of once every 5 years.

OT

Spoiler
Please note that all three avatars above (not counting my own) would fit right into an alien movie.

Well Indian multiplex are going to show this movie as PG-13 in india.  >:(  If I skip this original version in multiplex somehow then Hindi dubbed version awaits me in future screening via DVD or Television, which is linguistically and logically rape of any hollywood movie.  :D

That may be unwise - IIRC - Ridley didn't like the robot character in the first alien movie due to its predecessors tendency to freakout and kill people.

For those who want to see spoiler pics
