Can anyone tell me how to add a color background canvass to a screenshot. I used the options to change the background, and while I'm looking at it it's great, but when I save it the background is always white. Thanks.

It sounds like your screenshot has transparent area.
Try choosing from the "Objects" top menu the choice "Merge Transparency Background", then save.
See if that helps.
ps. I'm going to move this to the Screenshot Captor section.
