Portability explained in 'Settings'? Where?

Hi,  :-[

I'm embarressed... it says that how to make circle dock portable is explained in the settings but I can't find it nor can I find a simple explanation searching the forum or help... I know it's right in front of my eyes!!  Sorry!

I dropped and broke my laptop during my move. I am in the process of getting hardware together to make a new desktop.
This will take some time :(

Once I am up and running, I can tell you.

By the way; What version are you running?
