StormDriver is a web app that provides a single interactive overlay for the whole Web without the need to install anything. For the first time ever, social interaction is not restricted to the walled garden of a social network. Mashable business reported on this before the site officially launched, where they stumbled upon a mystery site that closely resembled (to me, at least) a rabbit hole for a new ARG:

I doubt it's going to work everywhere.

And even if it did, would you want it? Having all of your traffic analyzed and profiled, worse than even google and facebook combined? Oh, happi happi joi joi.

But it goes along with the Matrix vibe, though.
