Netcaptor web browser - development is dead?
« on: March 14, 2006, 10:14 PM »
i'm a longtime netcaptor user (www.netcaptor.com), mainly because they were one of the first and best at handling tabbed browsing, but there have been no new releases for a year or so.  i know many netcaptor users moved to the free maxthon (http://www.maxthon.com/), or firefox.

the netcaptor page says nothing about the state of netcaptor development.

but just saw this post over at the yahoo powertoolssoftware discussion group (see more useful sites on our link page https://www.donation...com/Links/index.html):

Meant to post this the other day but forgot...

I emailed Adam Stiles asking about the status of NetCaptor and further
development.  His response is as follows:
At this point I have no plans to release NetCaptor
    updates. Thanks for asking,
    Adam

It's hard to keep up with excellent alternatives like Firefox, Maxthon and AvantBrowser.
I didn't mention any others because AdBlocking is an "incontournable".
