SOLVED: how do I search imdb? using the built in alias

I type imdb and then a word to search so eg
imdb dirty dozen
but nothing shows, do I have to press some key after typing the word imdb? and then type a search term?

The format is:

http://www.imdb.com/...ll&q=dirty+dozen

www.imdb.com/find?s=all&q=dirty+dozen

find?s=all&q=dirty+dozen

So, you type in:

find?s=all&q=<your+search+terms+separated+by+plus+signs>

are you using googleplus plugin? because there is a problem with that plugin which requires some manual fixing.

btw, it works fine here..

No, I had been using it in the past but switched it off. Here is my screen-shot

SOLVED, Thanks for the tip on Google Plus as even though I had disabled the plugin the aliases were still set! so I had to uncheck them too. Now working fine.
