If the mousepad on your laptop does not support multi-touch, I would think that your request will be impossible. I have worked with MSI laptops (X600 (laptop priced in netbook range, as such a very good deal)) and these have a multi-touch mousepad. After installing Windows 7 Ultimate on them, a driver still needed to be installed to support multi-touch.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the following to be true: Windows 8 will support multi-touch by default, Windows 7/Vista will require drivers and XP or lower....well, forget it.
