additional mouse option for synaptics driver
« on: May 27, 2011, 09:16 PM »
not sure if this exists so here goes.   :)

The macbooks mouse drivers have an option if you place 2 fingers on the touchpad, it will acts like the right click on a windows machine.

Does anything exist out there for a pc?  I am running Windows 7 Home Premuim at the moment.  But soon to be Win 7 Pro.

thanks!

If the mousepad on your laptop does not support multi-touch, I would think that your request will be impossible. I have worked with MSI laptops (X600 (laptop priced in netbook range, as such a very good deal)) and these have a multi-touch mousepad. After installing Windows 7 Ultimate on them, a driver still needed to be installed to support multi-touch.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the following to be true: Windows 8 will support multi-touch by default, Windows 7/Vista will require drivers and XP or lower....well, forget it.
