Firefox url entry problem ...

I type a url into the address bar, press return (enter) and then nothing happens. Searched on google, no joy. Is it a bug, is there a key combo to use (tried ctrl+enter,shift+enter etc)?
I dont want to click any sort of "go" button. All help appreciated.

Your problem is right there:

Enter should work... must be some kind of bug.

Does the "Go" button work?

If you want the address to open in a new tab hit Alt+Enter, but this shouldn't be necessary.

Hi man,

I have FireFox 1.5.0.1, typed http://www.fbsl.net into the address bar and pressed Enter key and it has jumped to the very link i've precised : NO problem at all

Thanks .... tab, enter will work. If just enter works for others, must be a prob with my computer.
Ive got ie, firefox,maxthon, irider (eval) and opera cos I cant decide which I like the best - no point telling me to change.
