•Fastist: BugBopper can scan your machine at up to 500 executables per second or more, depending on your machine, your internet connection, and the number of suspect files present. Once a full scan has been completed and the unknown files examined, re-scans are even faster. In one test, BugBopper checked 18,248 files in 6.3 seconds - about 2,898 checks per second. That's fast. In comparison, other products look half-fast.
•Smallist: The average anti-malware product is 75 Mb on your disk. BugBopper takes only about 3 Mb. No product is smaller.
•Trustworthyist: You can trust other scanners to false alarm and miss malware. Less than 1% of all malware files are detected by all scanners. About 40% of files are detected by only half of the scanners used. The average scanner detects just 62% of malware files, with a range of results from a low of about 30% to a high of about 80%. •Informativeist: When BugBopper or Wuzzup report a file as possible malware, they provide a link to more information on that file. Hi ha14. I assume this software isn't yours. Have you used BugBopper? It's a cloud scanner which uploads files for analysis?

They use some entertaining terminology with this new malware scanner. Wuzzup?

This could prove to be a good anti-malware tool, but I don't think they should claim "BugBopper will detect all malware files". Sure there's some self-promotion (ie. marketing) inherent in that statement, but such a lofty claim seems ill-advised.

Quite right its not mine, its a cloud service, so one chosen the scaning drive then it will be uploaded to their server to check, plus clean cookies. Its little bit slow in the first run then works fine.

Thanks for the info. So $5.00 for 365 days of bug bopping.   No trial with BugBopper but Wuzzup will perform a free scan without any removal of detected malware?

Well, it should be interesting to see how BugBopper compares to more well-known anti-malware tools.

After reading on their site, I now see that BugBopper is the product of two persons who have a history in the anti-malware industry.

While the $5.00 deal is good, I've just noticed on the Features page an even better deal--FREE. [hint: see very bottom of that page] However, PayPal won't accept a $0.00 transaction so the final cost is actually $1.00 for the one-year license.
