I cant log into Yahoo as it says cookie support is required by your browser. How do I turn this on? I use Firefox.

go to options>privacy>cookies
check "allow sites to set cookies

I did that, nothing. Then it occurred to me it was my new free Nedaveda firewall after trial and error I have sorted it. Thanks though for confirming I was on the right track.
