Baby Cody In Yorkshire with Carol (and a new friend) ...

Baby Cody is currently staying with me and I thought I'd give you a sneak peak of what he is getting up to.

First off he arrived in a large cardboard box and I was initially concerned about the muffled complaints but was relieved to find him looking relatively happy as he climbed out of the box!



On Sunday I took Cody for a walk to see a bit of the area and his new best friend Hogan came along for the ride (together with my friend Liz).

The two friends had a good time and got up to all sorts of tricks ...

First Cody tried out his wings and landed carefully on a pole ... not to be outdone Hogan gave chase and posed for the camera ...



Then the showing off really began as Cody tried his wings at aerobatics ...



Finally they just took in the view together ...



I have a few more trips and adventures planned for Baby Cody in Yorkshire but he is already wondering where to go next - anyone else in the UK like to give him a treat before he flies off to a new country? If so sign up in the United Kingdom list at https://www.donation...ex.php?topic=19293.0

marvelous. i wondered if BC could fly and now you have the photographs to prove it. (when he was visiting me, he refused to walk let alone fly. i wonder what else he can do that we've not seen so far.)

when he was visiting me, he refused to walk let alone fly.

It is all the fresh air up there, brings out the best in people... and birds.

I think BC is going to pop down to the South East to visit me in the near future - I hope I can live up to his expectations after the experience of time spent with Carol!

Nah, he had one or two crashes but that is the beauty of heather moorland ... lots of soft heather to land in (he is probably a bit fragrant now too!).

Unfortunately neither of them had long enough legs for the walk (and Cody needs a lot more practice flying) so they go a free ride with my friend Liz:



Hogan and Baby Cody really hit it off - here they are having a private chat by a nice little stream:

I think Baby Cody is having so much fun in Yorkshire that he won't feel good anywhere else!

He is off down to Buckinghamshire next - but I still have a few plans for him!

I had planned to take him to the Lake District at some point, possibly rock climbing and my other plan was to take him caving (but it is absolutely foul weather here at the moment so I don't want to be underground!).

He'll be moving on in the next couple of weeks.
