Question about downloading from sites that block
« on: July 24, 2009, 06:07 AM »
I would like to download some videos from a site that blocks the videos to the USA.  Would I
still be able to obtain the url with UrlSnooper, and view the video and/or download with SDP?

thanks

Thanks,  I tried using several proxies that I found on the web, but they would
not display the video.  Of course, this were all free... I guess if I had signed up
and paid for one, it might have worked.  I have not heard of the Torproject, thanks
for the link, will read it.

As for my question, I don't want to install the program unless I am fairly sure I can
get the video.  If any one familiar with the program knows will let me know.

There is only one thing you can be fairly sure on, and that is that no one can tell you for sure that you can download all videos...so I recommend not to install the program, then you avoid all those other videos too....or you could buy the video you could not download, and use the program for the rest :)
