"IDEA:hiding system tray icons

i use lots n lots of system tray aps n its kinda messy...so in order to hide sys tray icons i use a freeware version of tray pilot.tray pilot lacks auto hiding feature that i need most..if anyone got any alternatives please help me out!!! thanks.. : )
