This Glaswegian student graduated on a bunch of pc components doing a live performance of Radiohead - Nude. Very impressive.

Sinclair ZX Spectrum - Guitars (rhythm & lead)
Epson LX-81 Dot Matrix Printer - Drums
HP Scanjet 3c - Bass Guitar
Hard Drive array - Act as a collection of bad speakers - Vocals & FX

I'm impressed!
That's a REALLY good video. I sure wasn't expecting such thing.
I still don't understand if the sound of the harddrives (which do the vocals, from what I understand) really comes from the hdds or if it's modified to that it sounds that way.

I think it's the sound of the platters. Btw the first 20 seconds 1 minute is for spectrum nostalgists as it loads the score, be patient

okay, when I first saw this -
I thought the guy is nude doing this performance - no big surprise - he's been to Art school...
after seeing the video - with the title "Big Ideas (don't get any)" I presumed this to be the name of the song and I was thinking, so, how do we know he's actually nude while doing all this    ...

It's the song "Nude" by Radiohead. Part of the lyrics say "Don't get any big ideas. They're not gonna happen."

The first time I saw this I wasn't that impressed for some reason. I didn't like how it took until about 1:30 before I could even recognize the song. But that was last night and it was late.

Now I just skip to about 1:10 and enjoy the video. It sure is neat!
