It's hard to imagine there was a Coding Snacks section without a skrommel, but there was..We started the Coding Snacks section thinking we would try to do a couple requests a month, in some spare time. The section proved to be a favorite part of the site, but we couldn't come close to keeping up with all of the requests.
Sometime in the middle of July appeared the first post by Skrommel, an autohotkey script to dim inactive windows, an interesting request that had been languishing.
Soon after that post came another and another, and soon it became hard to find a request that hadn't been implemented by Skrommel. What was going on and who was this skrommel?
When he ran out of pending requests, to everyone's surprise, he delved into the requests that had already been parked in the coding snacks subsection devoted to rejected requests
It's a constant pleasure to see his solutions and the names and icons he gives to them. I know i'm not the only person who views his presence on the forum as one of the nicest surprises we've had since we started this place.
Skrommel has until now had a separate auxilliary page on a separate little site we made to host such things.
Today it gives me great pleasure to announce that we've incorporated his pages into the main site:
https://www.donation.../Software/index.htmlhttp://donationcoder.com/skrommelI think the best way you can welcome skrommel to the site is to go check out his new page and if you haven't already,
make a small donation to him to let him know you appreciate his work.
Thank you Skrommel for being a part of our site; it's our honor to have you here.
