Option to install all checked items
« on: June 15, 2008, 09:57 PM »
mouser, it would be nice to have an option to install/update all checked items if there isn't one already. right now, i'm doing it manually one at a time and going crazy... ;D

this was done on purpose really to make you think about what you are doing before you install 1000 things

Maybe a compromise: If someone has more than 2 or 3 options checked a popup box saying "You have X number of programs selected to install. Are you sure you want to do that?"

the reason i have to do this is because occasionally DCU goes awol and forgets about the installed programs. this often happens after updating existing programs (such as Farr plugins) manually. in the long run, it might be better if that problem was fixed.
