Or if you have any kind of floor and one or more beagles.
(Just because they're little and cute doesn't mean they're not evil.)
Evil they may be but it seems a bit hard to sweep the floor with them   :o

They tend to get a bit growly when you do. For general purpose cleaning I much prefer a soapy soft-coated Wheaton Terrier. ;D

Thanks for the tip.
A wire-haired fox terrier comes in handy for the brasswork, too.  ;)

It works!  Tried it on the tennis court this morning and it killed my serve.

It's without a doubt the bulkiest USB hub I've ever used, but oh how I love the sound of the Tardis each time I connect a device...

If you like Daleks you may enjoy this...

Has to be one of the best gadgets I've seen, and a somewhat uplifting story to boot.

OK, forget the WaterPic, I changed my mind.

*This* is by far, the best gadget I've ever owned... 215 degrees F at the tip, it is a bug zapper, stone cleaner, all-metal cleaner, plastic cleaner, *name it*. Whatever you steam clean feels nice and warm & completely clean & smooth afterwards.

It's too bad the infomercials have gone overboard, though. The make steamers look like a joke. For example, I wouldn't clean a toilet with a steamer & it's yet to successfully remove glue residue left behind from price tag stickers. Also, this steamer does not do a nice job removing wrinkles from clothing; I have separate steamers for that.

nonetheless...

mine is on all the time and gets used constantly! Someday I'll make a list of all its uses (sooner, if anyone else here has a steamer & they think it is not useful).

I hate AC Adapters so I'm a big fan of "Power Liberators."

They're really nothing more than a short extension cord that plugs into your power strip or UPS. Now you can use all the sockets on that fancy power strip you paid so much for.

Simple, cheap, and effective.

I had forgotten the Dalek details, as they've never been on TV here!  ;D ;D I've been in SA a long time....

That would fit nicely on the front of my scooter!

My wife has been informed that all I want for Christmas is a Chumby... I don't know why I'm so enamored with it. Damn Wired magazine.

Wow! And those are cheap too!
I've made close to 20 or so of those things out of dead appliance cords and replacement plugs from the hardware store. The heavy duty plugs cost more than one of those little gadgets you mentioned.

Check out this link - http://www.staples.c...1_SC1:CG821:CL160904

I like hard copies of the ebooks/docs that I use so I splurged on one of these last year and it rocks!

Yeah, I'm hoping to find a source for these in the Great White North, eh?

The last time I needed to do some heavy-duty hole punching, I bought this.

It's very smooth & easy to use, but I was really amazed at how quickly this thing rips through paper, heavy-duty plastic, wood...I even used it to route electrical cords from the bathroom (other gadgets charging  ;)) to the next room.
Funny, I have a DeWalt, too, but this "craft" drill feels more powerful.
