old IE of HTML view - solved
« on: June 12, 2008, 12:06 PM »
Hi,
could you pls check what you get when you type:
igo http://czb.dcmembers.com/temp/show.htm
I get:
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0)
so it means that my HTML view mode uses really old version of IE, is it the same with you? (those having IE7)

EDIT: my mistake => IE7 gives the same result.. but still it seems to me as if FARR is not using IE7... I will check further :-[

You could try http://www.cyscape.com/showbrow.asp to get a lot of browser related info including the version.  Which may or may not be a little more helpful just a thought.

hamradio: thanks for the link.

btw: have you noticed that always when HTML view mode is launched you loose focus of the search (entry) bar? I think it should not be so
