If they could at least just be a bit realistic, it would be more fun... Vista doesn't mess with firefox etc. And it does a lot more than just FlickerLED(), it's more like ThrashDriveByIndexing().

I liked that! :)

I'm not in the Vista Hate Camp, but the copy size analyzing thing does annoy me. I've also turned off the indexing as I pretty much know where things are. But I have no really major complaints with Vista.

Indexing does not bother me as it only indexes my start menu, my documents folder (nothing in it) and several other empty folders. So the thrashing is non-existent on my system.
