PowerDesk Pro v7 has been released and version 6 is available for less than $10 http://www.shop.avan...;tr1=AQ_US_AF_CJ_PD6.

If you use discount code AFFPD7 when ordering you will get a US$10 discount. Final price is $0. No credit card details are required and the license details are supplied immediately.

I do not know how long this will last.

Directory Opus is better IMO.

I used PDP for years and years and just jumped ship...
Maybe v7 is better?

I can confirm that this works. v6.0.4.2 - 33.78MB download for $0.0

Have to refuse their blandishments to upgrade the purchase cheaply to v7 though.

PS - I don't think there is any question that Directory Opus is better and worth the money (even if v7 of Powerdesk were better).

Also if you add more than one copy (accident) they're all free as the discount gets applied to all copies individually.

This is weird then because I cannot get the place where you guys put the discount code. It says that discount is not available for me.

Just click on

Click add to cart

Reject the offer of version 7 and choose to stick with version 6

Select your country or state from the dropdown boxes

Untick the send it on CD box

Enter the code AFFPD7 in the Special Discount Promotion Code box and click OK.

If you want more than one free copy just hit the + buttons to the left of the item.

It should now say is costs 0.00 and you can click proceed to place the order.

If it doesn't work for you which browser are you using (it works for me in Firefox for UK and US addresses)?

Carol thank you so much. For some reason the I cannot see "the promotion code box" where I enter the code. It seems like empty spot there(just blank). SO I did not think that that is where I should put. Maybe My lcd`s contrast is not good enough to show subtle html coloring there if there is anything.

could be.. or maybe they assign servers according to the location. in any case, i'll select a different location/country and hope for better luck.

If someone wants to purchase PowerDesk Pro version 7 then use www.avanquestusa.com/pd7 to get software for US$19.95. One could also use discount code UPGPD7; it will give same result.

Given that version 6 is supposed to be freely downloadable I wouldn't think so. Not sure the best way to do it though because the file is 32Mb and my email only allows up to 20Mb attachments.
