expect delays.. story of my life.

for stability sake i've been performing the update on a separate installation - everything seems to be working well, ill move it all over to the main site today.

just trying to decide whether i should attempt to install movabletype on the test machine as well, to help me get more practice reconstructing the server configuration.

The forum seems to be working fine to me. Haven't checked the rest of the site yet.
