Disable balloon tips?
« on: December 06, 2007, 05:59 AM »
Is it possible to disable the balloon tips that pop up to indicate which processes are being tamed?  (On Windows XP Pro SP2.)  I find them obtrusive at times; I am happy the the program to do its thing - it doesn't have to keep on telling me!  I can always check the log file if I want to see what has happened.

Perhaps I am missing something.

Cheers
Haydn

double click the icon, configuration tab, under "show system tray balloon messages" uncheck all 3 options. I always turn these off as well so would support making this the default configuration.

Ah, thank you.  I looked right past that line of text to the options alongside the check boxes (and not realising what I was looking at!)

Thanks

I've been in the same position :D fortunately I had a copy installed at work so I figured  it out from there. I think it's because only the label of the form group has the wording "system tray balloon messages" in them, not the actual checkboxes.
