Image upload feature?
« on: November 18, 2007, 04:35 PM »
Is there anyway to upload an image straight to say Imageshack or Photobucket after grabbing?

you could right click on the image in the thumbnail view and upload it using a tool like this:

I use Firefox and the ImageShack Firefox extension. It does what you are asking for. There are plenty of tools available.

you can google the respective image-hoster's upload tools and add it to SC's Tools menu.. or if you're using Firefox, try this add-on: Universal Uploader.

Would just like to say I second this request. So often I grab a little region to show to others on irc and whatnot.

I see the suggestions above and those in the FTP upload thread, but I really would like to avoid adding even more stuff to my Windows context-menu, and would like to have a really super-simple way of capturing+sharing. I am thinking the easiest would be to have Imageshack, Photobucket etc right there on the "Send to" menu in SC? Preferably you'd want a progress bar and the final url copied to clipboard - but I don't know how accessible their API's are, if it's feasible to add or not - I am simply voicing my wishes.

Thanks for your time, keep up the good work!

since SC has the ability to send images via e-mail, maybe this approach could be of help: ImageShack QuickSend.
