New release of my font manager called Cfont Pro
«

Cfont Pro is a kind of pet project of mine that was the first application I ever released. Its a font manager that does everything you need in a highly customizable interface. Its free so there is no harm in checking it out.
Whats New:
Now supported on Windows Vista
Redesign Font Browser to include an always displayed Folder Browser
Brand new Quick Detailed Viewer lets you see all fonts with key information in a single location
New Zoomer tool lets you see the details of any font and any character
Added a Property Toolbar to let change some properties instead using the Property Window
Glyph viewer lets you see how a font character is constructed
Check it out at:
http://www.cfontpro.com/
--or--

Any problems or issues please use the support forum at:
http://www.veign.com...index.php?board=29.0
To make sure you download the latest version:
On the Cfont Pro
download page
use the 'Direct Download from CfontPro.com' option at the bottom. The download locations and alternate download locations take some time to get the newest version.

Erm, maybe I'm not doing something right, but CFont's reporting 332 fonts installed, but only displaying *one*. I literally just now installed it and was a bit confused.
Is this a RTFM manual thing?

Can you send me that first font. There is some issue with it and I need to see what it fails to go any further.
Basically Cfont Pro has 332 fonts internally cataloged but reading from that catalog (its a collection class) its having a problem.
Does the drop-down in the property window, the drop-down in the toolbar and the Quick Detailed view all show one font?
also, can you post this in my support forum:
http://www.veign.com...index.php?board=29.0
(would like to keep all support issues in a single location)

Okay, I posted a note on your forum. But I can't include the offending font file, so I'll email it to ya.
As far as CFont can see, there's only the one font. None of the combos (etc) show anything else.

I see you posted under v2.6 which is an older version. Look at the posts above about downloading the 3.0 version and see if the problem persists.

How do I get 3.0? The download.com link gives me 2.6.

hmmm.. crash. messagebox says "Run-time error '13': Type mismatch" then it crashes without a trace... Happens when launching it.
Also, in the install dialog, the "Next" button says "Nex"

TucknDar,
Something is very wrong since I don't control the install dialogs. I use Visual Installer which doesn't let me control down to what a button says. If the button doesn't say 'nex' then I can only think of two things: 1) The dialog box is cutoff and not displaying the entire width or 2) You have something on your system that is changing it.
Can you post support issues here (I will work through it):

Got v3 installed, and it does the same thing.
Except now the Font Browser shows nothing (not even the "04b_25" font), but the combo box DOES show all 330+ fonts.
Weird.
