Sorry for the delay in replying -- your post originally was hidden and I only now noticed it.

I think you can do what you want if you tell SC that after each capture it should show the main form.. Then you won't have to confirm that you want to Save Image and Show each time.
(in fact I *never* use that pop-up post capture dialog -- I always either have SC set to show after each capture or stay minimize).

Then after you edit your image, press the little button near the bottom right that looks like an organge clipboard icon, that will copy your saved changes to the clipboard.
(if it asks you to confirm that you want to save your settings and you don't like to hit Ctrl+S first to save, you can change the SC options to tell it to always save your changes without asking).

Hope that helps!

This is a very cool programming game/challenge, which deals with the absolutely fascinating problem of optimal elevator scheduling:

I watched One Man, Two Guvnors.. A mixed bag.. The humor wasn't exactly my style, and it starts off not so great, but something unexpected/unusual happens after the first 26 minutes or so and it makes it compelling to keep watching..

Can you elaborate a little on what's happening and what should be happening?

Any reports on the latest version?

Ok, I understand now.

I'm very sorry to hear you are suffering and and going through some struggles.  I wish I had some good advice or ideas for you.  Your situation sounds like it must be scary, confusing, frustrating, etc.  I can imagine you are feeling very stressed out.. And to have so much confusion going on in the world can't help.

Probably the most we can do here is just offer a friendly ear and safe space..  It sounds like a very tough situation, where you are dealing with complicated issues.

I'm a little confused as to the nature of this post and in particular the quoted part of this post -- is it by Paul Keith or Marvin Lu Hui, or are they one and the same?
840
Very very strange..

You could try a couple of different things to narrow down the cause:
1. Make sure you have latest version of SC
2. Try changing the compression level in SC for png images
3. Maybe its related to comments in the SC file? do all SC files open with this behavior?
841
How strange.. Any theories?
842
Let me know if you spot any bad behavior in the latest version.

Screenshot Captor / Re: SC captures several PICs
« Last post by mouser on April 01, 2020, 06:30 AM »
use <ALT> <Print> SC (often !)  captures several PICS from that same screen.
I think what you are describing is SC's attempt to capture the partial transparency when performing an "Active Window" capture.
In such a case, the result is only a single capture -- but you see it flash on screen 3 times as it tries to figure out partial transparency (for example rounded corners).

You can disable this if you don't care about the partial transparency or tweak the settings by going to the "Window Capturing 1" and "Window Capturing 2" tabs, and disabling the options to try to capture Aero Glass, and the detect active window transparent options.

If I'm misunderstanding what you are describing let me know.

I'm still getting a very rare bug where it something goes wrong with the display updating, and clicking on a new clip does not show its details, and the most recent clip doesn't show up on the quick pop-up menu.  Only a restart of CHS seems to fix it.
I'm trying hard to track it down..

[EDIT: I'm hopeful that I may have found the problem.]

Just finished Mafia3.  Pretty amazing, as were the first two.  This series does not get the respect and admiration that it deserves.  Incredible games.

Mircryption / Re: mircryption for NodeJS
« Last post by mouser on March 31, 2020, 12:15 PM »
It's an interesting question.. I have been doing quite a bit of nodejs coding myself lately.
But I don't know of any nodejs code out of the box that can do mircryption.

However, the encryption and decryption are basically just the blowfish algorithm, running in ecb and cbc mode.  So that's the javascript code you'd want to hunt for.

Hmm checking here I don't see any 21 item limit-- I am showing so far 35 and counting if I add them..
When you say a 21 limit, can you take a screenshot?
850
Ok thanks, that clarifies it -- I forgot there was that menu -- it also shows those items in the quick paste popup dialog.  I will look into your suggestions and see if I can remove the limits as well.
