Living Room / Re: could wall colour help or hinder your work?
« on: February 26, 2008, 04:37 PM »
This site may help...
http://www.color-whe...m/color-meaning.html

Also, you have to think about what else happens in the room - Is it  only an office? or will it function as living room, bedroom etc.

If you are making an office where you wanna get a lot of work done, you may want something like a neutral color, or a bright scheme that will motivate you but not overwhelm you. A taupe, pale blue, or seafoam green would be calming and unobtrusive. A darker red, however, like deep cherry-maroon, could make you feel empowered.  :)

Anyways, hope that helps!

I am looking forward to concentrating more on meditation, enjoying life without any more anxiety attacks or getting worried over superficial things. Smiling more, traveling, and hopefully conceiving a gothic junior :D
I also would like to save the world, but that may have to wait til next year  :-\

Living Room / The First DC Get together Dinner and Drinks event
« on: March 27, 2007, 09:40 PM »
So, after a looooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnngggggggggggggg drive half way across the country, Gothi[c] and I finally met the infamous Mouser along with alex3f and vrgirl. We all went out to dinner and then for some drinks and had a great time.  :D This was truly well worth the trip and we would definately do it again sometime. Mouser's new place is HUGE and very nice! His cat told me that she enjoys going from window to window to watch the birds sitting out in the trees. Mouser even has a little Cody on his door step to greet his visitors.  :P
I cannot wait until we have a more official get together where more people can attend. Don't worry, there will be no farting monkeys, or snails to rescue.  ;D
Please let me know suggestions of how to plan the 2008 DC Get-together...I need some ideas on what you guys would like to do, etc.
Thanks again Mouser for letting us visit ya, and alex3f and vrgirl it was great to meet you guys too!  :D

« on: December 12, 2006, 08:29 PM »
Greetings fellow DC goers....

This Holiday Season DC would like to bring our family together by doing an international candy exchange. By posting your name and country, you will be matched with someone else from another country and the two of you can swap a $10 candy gift. This is a great way to experience great tastes from around the world!

Happy Holidays!!!

do we have a pic of Cody with a Santa hat? wouldn't that be a cute mug design?
