Living Room / Re: My daughter kind of stuck in France
« on: May 10, 2009, 11:48 PM »
dunno if this helps at all, but Gothic and I are going to be in Belgium as of June 4th.  She can crash with us if she needs to, I know it isn't France, but... it can be a last resort-- without having to go all the way back to Australia.

Hahaha!

Gothic has to learn how to talk to people in general, not just girls.

I, on the other hand, need to learn how to talk "geek" with Gothic so he talks to me more.  :P
especially now that I am not working all day anymore. I think I am driving him a bit crazy.  :-*

I read that list to Gothic and he was getting really agitated. He has done more then half of that list by a long shot... and then plainly said that  the list is not "Geeky".  :P

Then again, this is gothic we are talking about... the geekiest of all geeks. LOL.

It's Cody after partying all night for new years! 8)

you know its bad when you term in "real life" at work or something... and people look at you funny.  :P then you have be like "oh never mind"...

But I also would like to say that Mouser cannot sit still to save his life. That guy must have random though processes that in the middle of one thing his brain goes and sais " hey why don't I go and make some pizza" thus leaving the conversation....

I admit that I am also like that at times, but at least I will say, BBL or something.... ;D

18
maybe gothic and I can meet at one of those the next time we are "over there" :P

I will come at this from another point of view- since I, myself, am not a programmer... But, I am married to the biggest computer geek on the planet (points at Gothi[c]).
I can safely say that if it was not for me? he would not even know what "outside" looked like, or even know that people existed in flesh form.  :P

any idea of when this will happen?
I doubt we would have the cash to get there, but I know gothic and I would love to at least TRY to get there :)

i have a friend who used to work in tech support. I said that there were so many people out there who asked the strangest of questions. Like this one woman who called cuz she did not know where to put a disk. and when he told her, she was like "ohhhhhhh, i thought that was a cup holder"

though i really cant laff at stuff like that. Cuz i do some really stupid stuff on the computer and get all frustrated and need gothic to "fix" it for me. which usually is just one click. heheeh.... :P

« on: February 28, 2008, 09:25 PM »
yeah deozan, Gothic went through the lengthy and expensive procedures to get his permanent residence card....   did I mention expensive???? It took us about 2 years just to get enough money to file all that paperwork. It was nuts.

Anyways, I don't agree with the "illegal" immigrants, but I do think that immigration should be a little less expensive. I mean, give people a chance right? Do all the paperwork, back ground checks whatever, but why does it have to cost this outrageous price to do it?

Ok, I will shut up now...

I agree with all of the rants about drivers. I am on the road a lot due to my work, and I can tell you so many horror stories.... those of which probably could have been preventable if people were patient and obeyed traffic laws.

Other things that annoy me is when someone puts an empty container back into the fridge. Or when my pager/cell phone goes off at a time when it is really most inappropriate.
and who is it that  takes a shower and puts  the wet towel on the bed???? Grrrrrrrrrr
