EAV = Eset Antivirus - commonly called NOD32.  I reported them as false positives to Eset already.  Its not that  i dont trust these files, as their author  i just brought it to your notice, that's all. Sorry if you feel offended<grin>

4.9.00 versions Reopen & Folder cache flagged by Eset AV (NOD32) as false positives, I submitted them to Eset to correct this.  Even after excluding these files in EAV stil can't download them
(EAV 4.2.71.2, XP-SP3)

I guess joiwind's first link above is what you need.

If you set GoogleChrome as your default, and uninstall it later , your Outlook can get messed up, and you probably need a fresh Windows install. The author provides a reg file to cleanly remove traces of G Chrome left behind after uninstall.

The catch : Never set Google Chrome as default browser , if you  rely on Outlook/Word etc(MS apps) to work correctly.

I have seen similar one/two liners (mainly Chinese)  in other english forums, eg. on k-meleon forums, and mostly these are spam.

If anyone can prove me wrong, I can offer my apologies.

You should know OCZ sneakily changed to ship 25nm SSDs under same name OCZ Vertex 2 , but which may not have same performance as 34nm versions sold earlier.    Read more about this here:

How much estimated ram is needed for how much HD space for it to run decently. (Let's say cheap HD and not SSD)

32-bit Win7 : 3-4GB RAM, 7200 rpm /10,000 rpm hard disk
64-bit: 8-16 GB RAM, 7200 rpm /10,000 rpm hard disk

Sorry if OT, but do any of AMD CPUs come close to Intel's Sandy Bridge/equivalent ?
Are they hotter, need better heat sinks, coolers etc, can they withstand higher temperatures than Intel's CPUs ?  Various hardware sites just say Intel is better, what do you feel ?

Pls PM if OT - thanks

Monogamy (just MS) preferred to polygamy(all ISVs messing with your PC)

This may well lead MS / ISVs "to charge users" for Windows Update , who will do this  for free ?

If you accept hypothesis that NSA/USGov is behind Google, its easy to spend BILLIONS on anything that gives surreptitious control over Internet users.

From another perspective, they do it since there is no one else yet , as evil as they are.
