Mouser,
so sorry, but I could NOT stand it!!
I deleted all of the files/etc. today. Just couldn't stand the incessant pop-up's happening all day long the past several days. I know you wanted me to let you help me to figure out why this was happening, but I could NOT take it any longer.
UGGH. I understand you have a lot more than to help me, but I could not wait.
Scott

HI Mouser,
a NEW pop up error message today.
But annoying as all as always. I do NOT know why I get these so very often. Last time you wanted to track down why it is happening, so I hope we can do this rather fast, because I won't be patient enough to wait days on end.
Today's error when I booted up was DBISAM Engine Error # 9217 Error reading from the table or backup file 'Clip Table'

When I tried to make a copy of something I got another pop up error:
Error EX11: TableClips: Cannot perform this operation on a closed dataset

If problem persists, try repairing database; see Options dialog, Backup/Maintenance tab.

I was able to get screen clips via Evernote if you would like to see them, let me know.
Thanks, Scott

I am STILL getting the error that DCUpdater cannot update any of the programs.
Anyone else experiencing this??

HI Mouser,
I was not using the beta. I am using version 2.55.0
So sorry I forgot to include this initially.

I ended up unistalling EVERYTHING. I was so sick of the errors popping up all the time. For days.
I deleted my CHS folders, so I really am starting from scratch, I guess. But that is fine. I do not think it was my security software. It never had caused a problem previously and I had it whitelisted.
Things as of now are fine.
God bless you.
Scott

I am reading on the site and it seems related to this older post https://www.donation...ex.php?topic=25938.0, too, but it is unhelpful to me. I hope you have some ideas for me.
Thanks, a lot.

Hello Mouser,
I am getting MORE CHS errors yesterday and today -- it would seem "out of the blue"
I am so sorry to write you directly, but since you have helped me in the past, (https://www.donation...19.new;topicseen#new) multiple times, I thought no better way to do so.

I get the following errors, and I am going to attach screen clips.

First came,
Error EX4 for db file D:\Scott's Documents/DonationCoder\ClipboardHelp+Spell\Database/ClipboardHelpAndSpell : DBISAM Engine Error #8961 Header information corrupt in the table 'ClipTable'
https://www.dropbox....view=ScreenClip1.png
Then,
Error DB65: DBISAM Engine Error # 8961 Header Information corrupt in the table 'ClipTable'
https://www.dropbox....view=ScreenClip2.png
Hopefully we can resolve again these.
Thank you for your tireless efforts.
Amiably, Scott

Thank you. I tried again today and it now works. Last week I did replace the .dll file and I was still getting the error. I do not know why it is working today and not last week, but thankful it is working now.
I do appreciate your work always.

Oh, and Mouser, you helped me just a month ago, EXTENSIVELY with Automatic Screen Shotter. This is where the help began -- https://www.donation....msg434966#msg434966 and then a LOT of email support. Thanks, again, Scott

Hi Mouser,
I am getting this error again today. Just started again. I guess I wrote about it several years ago and I have not had or at least not been notified of it until just now when I started up my computer.
Yesterday I suspended the noises from Automatic Screen Shotter. Now, I do not see its icon in the taskbar.
When I booted up I received this message "Error EX54: Invalid docking layout stream header"

I am not sure if my compression level is set to 1 or 10. And I just emailed you a message with the pictures. Hope that helps.

Hello Mouser,
Yes, the latest version from a few days ago and you will see what it says if you can see this or let me know how I can send you a picture maybe.
Hopefully, you can see what I see from this link I created in Evernote. https://www.evernote...Od7m-N9ut6yb0i8dNSQ/         Let me know.
I KEEP on getting this and it is soo FRUSTRATING.
I have restarted my computer several times and it is not stopping!!

Automatic Screenshotter / Error Box -- Cannot create new PNG
« on: January 03, 2020, 08:41 AM »
Hello Mouser,
I have Automatic Screen Shotter set to start automatically and take screenshots automatically. I have been getting error boxes all day lately and I do NOT know why. I think since the update the other day.
All I can do is click OKAY and then it happens again.
Any ideas why or what to do to fix this??
Thanks, Scott

This seems to have taken care of the problem, so far, Mouser.
I have done this before, but this time it seems to have taken care of it.
I deleted EVERYTHING related to CHS. I delted my files/folders in My Documents. I uninstalled the program and I deleted ALL files/folders in the program files\X86 director, as well.
I'll let you know if the problem seems to come back.
Thanks, so much.
Scott

22
What I have done, AGAIN, is DELETE EVERYTHING after uninstalling CHS.
All seems okay so far.
I will keep you updated.
Thanks for the ideas, Mouser. I do so appreciate it and YOU.
Thanks, again,
Scott

originally, yes, I had, but I deledted all of that since I read that was not good. I DELETED ALL old data, etc.

Hello  Mouser,
at this point, I simply CANNOT do anything with the program!! If I try to do so, I get yet MORE error boxes pop up!!
As for setting a rule in my AV program, I am not sure how to do so. I use Vipre, and I have set it to be allowed, but it is still have a problem, it seems, if that is the culprit.
When I reboot my computer, I  literally have more than a dozen error boxes on my screen!! I have to click OK to close them, and all seems fine, but I cannot use the program.
HELP is all I  can say.
Thanks, a LOT.
Scott

Clipboard Help+Spell / CHS Error Boxes and I do not know how to fix
« on: January 06, 2017, 03:15 PM »
Hello,
for MONTHS now I have had problems with CHS.
I am using the latest non-portable version and have tried solutions suggested by the threads at https://www.donation....msg404031#msg404031
                               AND
https://www.donation...ex.php?topic=11219.0.

I have had these problems with CHS for a long time, but have been able to resolve in times past, but now seem unable to. It keeps coming back, however now, I cannot even seem to get anything to work. I have uninstalled and installed so many times after deleting the folders suggested.
Please let me know if there is ANYTHING I can do.

Here are samples of the latest errors I am getting.

Thanks, so very much.
