Screencast on 'Direct Access'
« on: May 17, 2007, 11:12 PM »
I created a screen recording on Direct Access, a program using which we can launch programs, files, folders, web pages etc v. quickly and auto expand text.

Give this prog a try, it's very useful

Great screencast for a great piece of software! I am evaluating the trial as we speak, the textreplacing performance is the best i've seen, a lot better then my AHK script (hotstrings). That and the ease of use of adding/editing abbreviations are the reasons I'm going to buy the program!

Nothing is as annoying as waiting on text being replaced ;)

Can I ask what software you used to make the screencast the interface looks really slick.

@justice: I used Techsmith's Camtasia. I produced it as .avi w/ divX compression, uploaded it to veoh.com and embedded the video.
