It is sometimes reported that an XP user has managed to scranch his or her account and must create a new one for functionality. In such cases the new account must be configured manually in order not to import the flummoxed settings. I think it would be great if there was a utility that would filter the imported settings and give the user the ability to check the settings that were not corrupted, but not import those that were. Check the boxes for settings to import and "Apply."
