Happy articles and stories

Hi everybody!

Because newspapers and news in general usually only portray the depressing stuff, I was thinking about starting a newspaper/newsletter with only happy things in it!

I thought of naming it "The bright side of life" though other name suggestions are welcome.

So I was wondering if everyone could send me any happy/positive articles about anything or post them in this thread to help me get started.

Are you planning to take it online or print it on paper? I checked online a bit and there's a site at www.happynews.com but it's not accessible though. In the couple of minutes I couldn't find a site for it, so I think it's a good idea that definitely has a market. If I stumble upon some upbeat reporting I'll post it for you

I plan on printing it out, maybe I will make it part of our website- depending on how things go.

I really like this idea. I don't know how much help I'll be--I stopped watching the news five years ago and never looked back for this very reason!--but I'll be on the lookout for happy news stories.

I don't really know any current events other than what I hear from word-of-mouth, but sometimes ignorance truly is bliss!
