Robocopy alternatives
« on: April 14, 2026, 04:37 PM »
I'm looking for good alternatives to Robocopy for copying large amounts of files/folders on Windows.
Robocopy is powerful but sometimes feels clunky with its syntax and limited features (like no built-in progress bars in some cases or modern GUI).
What are the best modern alternatives in 2026? Preferably tools that are fast, reliable, support resume, mirroring, and maybe have a nicer interface or better logging.
Free or paid is fine. CLI or GUI both welcome.
I see some tools in some websites like Teracopy, FastCopy, Gs Richcopy 360, Syncback, but I will be happy to hear from you, depending on your experience
Thanks!
