No longer able to change hot key?
« on: November 03, 2025, 04:18 AM »
I have been using FARR for quite some years and I always opened FARR using ALT+Space (not CTR+SPACE, as that triggers VS Code intellisense).
I use Choco to update FARR, which means I am running: v2.239.03

Due to personal circustances I have not been using my laptop for sometime, but once I switched it on, I ran some updates (but not sure if that caused it). And now I can no longer launch FARR using ALT+SPACE. Also cannot find the option that allows me to change the hot key...

Can someone please end my suffering? Because I feel like and idtio that I can't get this to work..

Hi. Open FARR options. Then in the left tree view in section "List" choose "Hotkeys". There should be an entry named "Toggle FARR (Alt+Space)" or similar. Make sure its checkbox is checked. If there is no such entry then rightclick and do "add entry" to create one. Hope this helps.

Oh Thank you! Such a simple solution. I thought I was going mad and searching help also did not do much good either. Thanks!
