Alien washes up on NJ beach
«

This reads like a tabloid headline.
A potentially deadly jellyfish-like sea creature washed up on a New Jersey beach over the weekend, officials said.
Isn't almost anything potentially deadly?
Portuguese man o' war, floating around, is seasonal in S. Florida.
And they
could
be deadly, I guess, if the tentacles got wrapped around your upper thighs or got in your mouth.
Its nasty sting is excruciatingly painful...
Yes, very painful and lasts around 30 minutes. With paralyzing and numbing as well.
