change taskbar colour (like windowblinds)

how is this for a challenge... make a program that lets you change your taskbar like window blinds (you dont have to change the bar at the top of every window, but if you really want a challenge...  )

Of course if this is too much of a challenge for you guys... (only joking... you guys are really good coders (and generous in not adding adware to keep your software free... so keep the good stuff up  )

EDIT: Oh and it only has effect on the older style of window's task bar, as far as I know..

As I understood it Skrommel's script makes the taskbar run though a range of colours over time.
But I think the poster just wants to be able to change the colour and have it stay one colour?
I would like that too.
