Join Clips

I would like a Windows utility that enhances the Windows clipboard in a special way: it will put together all text fragments that I have copied to clipboard and will save them in a single txt file. Every time I make a "copy to clipboard" operation, the previous text in clipboard is lost. With this utility I would like prevent this behavior allowing me to keep all text fragments I ever copied to clipboard.

I usually use Ditto. Any additional feature is welcome.

Best Regards

This simple script seems to do it.  The filename is hard wired though

This has been asked for before: see

IDEA: Auto copy information from clipboard to MS Word

Clipboard type programme to collect together snippets of text

Summarising what I said there, and adding resources:

  • PC Magazine's WinPaste pasteboard, freeware: see attachment below.
  • Dr. Mike Sanders's PasteBoard, freeware: see attachment below.
  • ClipCache 1.41, last free version
  • ClipCache Pro, payware. Tip; Help > Working with ClipCache > Clipboard Routing.
  • NoteTab Light

Clipboard Helper looks like the two PasteBoard tools I mentioned, but newer/currently maintained.

PC magazine's WinPaste don't go in seven, but Dr. Mike is perfect and simple.

ClipTrap adopted

I have bad memory :

see first attach

I used this program in february 2012 under xp. For problems with memory (now I have 16 GB under 7) i can't afford but put in eventually use.

see second attach

The program have progressed a lot from february. Now have more options and buttons I must investigate.

My first doubt is about the version. In february I have an exe Unicode. And now is ANSI. Can I delete the unicode exe ?

Best Regards
