DPS also optimizes  headphones, external speakers, télévisions... whatever you plug your computer into. You can witness treble and mid-range crisper so easier to distinguish than the sound  from computer’s speakers. You have other profiles here. If this profile not good for you try  setting in the DPS Equalizer. They have a forum too.
Since sound is coming  from audio output sources so you have to check the profiles and use the DPS Equalizer for fine tuning.
