VueMinder Pro 50% Off - BitsDuJour On August 24
« on: August 21, 2012, 05:28 PM »
Hello, I'm Dan Chartrand from VueSoft, creator of VueMinder - a calendar and reminder program for Windows. On August 24, VueMinder Pro will be discounted 50% on BitsDuJour. If you haven't taken a look at VueMinder yet, now's a great time! Here's the link to the BDJ page:
http://www.bitsdujour.com/software/vueminder-pro/

VueMinder is also being translated into many different languages. The translations are still in work and aren't in the version being sold on BDJ, but will be a free upgrade when finished. A beta version is currently available and more information about the translation effort can be found here. Anyone that helps complete a translation will get a free license!

Hi Oress1934, you can import events from an Excel spreadsheet (or CSV file). See the documentation linked below for more details:
http://www.vueminder...ndarwindowexcel.html

If the calendar containing the imported events is configured to sync with Outlook, the sync will happen automatically. Otherwise, to configure the calendar to sync with Outlook, use the "Outlook" tab of the Calendar Properties, which described in the page linked below:
http://www.vueminder...seditor.html#outlook

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

If you check this Dan.
After years of on and off looking and using the lite version it's probably time to go for the pro one. Not to sound cheap ( :-[  ) but there is an ongoing promotion over at BdJ http://www.bitsdujou...m/software/vueminder should I go for it or by chance there is another bigger discount coming in the near future?
