DimScreen not working properly on Windows 7
« on: December 06, 2011, 07:56 PM »
Experiencing glitches with DimScreen on Windows 7. Mouse cursor isn't dimmed. The start menu / task bar sometimes flashes between dimmed and not dimmed. 3rd party app menus (File, Edit, Help etc.), say for Firefox, are also not dimmed.

Are there any ways to remedy these?

During the late hours of the night these glitches cause a lot of pain to my eyes. I love DimScreen though!

Thanks for everything!

I also find DimScreen (DimScreenMod) to be quite useful when using my computer after dark, it really helps my eyes. That along with Blank Your Monitor extension for Firefox.

I am bumping this thread because it really would be great if the overlay could actually always be on top of everything!

However I'll continue to use it as is, because it still works the best out of all the tools I have tried.
