NOCLOSE and Windows 7 x64
« on: May 31, 2011, 10:56 AM »
Just upgraded from Vista 32 to Win 7 x64.  No issues with NOCLOSE on Vista 32.

On Win 7 x64, NOCLOSE seems to work interactively - meaning that you can focus a window and press the hot key to disable its close button, but you can't press the hot key to create a rule and have it persist.

This is a great utility.  Is the problem Win 7 compatibility or going 64 bit?  Any chance this incompatibility could be addressed?

Thanks.

Hi, and welcome to DC!

Have you tried running it with compatibility mode for windows xp?
I've had some problems with my own gridmove and running it without administrator privileges.
