CCEnhancer 2.0

CCEnhancer is a simple, easy to use utility designed to add support for over 270 new programs into the popular program CCleaner.

The tool uses the WinApp2.ini system built into CCleaner to easily add new rules and definitions for programs. The rules were sourced mainly from the Piriform Support Forum, with several sourced from other places around the internet.

Editors Note: The actual file containing the definitions is not included with the program. Simply press "Download Latest" and the tool will automatically download the most recent version of the definitions. If CCEnhancer cannot locate the CCleaner.exe file you can open a dialog box and select the page yourself.

Finally they added my Vim cleanup to the "official" list.  :D
(Whch was the only reason for me to switch to BleachBit every now and then.)

Still, it seems to be missing in CCEnhancer?  :huh:

I am not all sure how to understand your words about Vim in CCenhancer. Was Vim first present in CCleaner, and then you installed CCenhancer and Vim disappeared?

I have not checked CCleaner for Vim, before installing CCenhancer, but:
With CCenhancer installed:

[Vim (History)*]
LangSecRef=3021
Detect=HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Vim
Default=False
FileKey1=%UserProfile%|_viminfo
FileKey2=%UserProfile%|.viminfo
-CCenhanced winapp2.ini

Edit:
Yes, I know, the proper word is not "installed".

After installing CCEnhancer, the "Vim" entry disappeared from my CCleaner, that's why...  :huh:

-what a mystery! I don't dare to ask if you are certain you clicked "Download Latest", so I won't. My CCEnhanced ini file includes Vim. CCleaner doesn't create any ini files.

Really, really strange...

Of course I clicked it.  :)

Now maybe something is wrong with the detection on my system (which shouldn't be the case), as Bram changed smth in the installer lately (in gVim 7.3); could anyone check if the registry entry is still correct? I use a self-compiled build...

Very nice but check comments on his site. I used the old version without noticeable disasters but then he posted that it will NEVER work on 64 bit Windows, needed a complete rewrite. This is the one but unless he changed info on site last few hours there is still no clear mention of 64bit problems/fixes. May be I misunderstand how it works but I think I was asking for trouble using old version on 64bit. I blame him a litte too ;) Many use it so all problems will be highlighted, in comments at least.

Hmm... the combination, CCleaner and CCenhancer, disables Firefox addon FavLoc.
I haven't tested if FavLoc will work without CCenhancer. Normally, I never use CCleaner.

Now back to Normal ;-)
